Although "Akiko" is not her real name, she is known as Akiko to her clients and to Japan. She originated from a small rice field, in China, by the Huang River. At the age of 16, her parents sold her off to a retired Japanese man who owns a small Antique shop in Kyoto. She was sent to Japan as soon as the man's payment had reached Akiko's parents. Once she was in Kyoto, she married him infront of a Government official. She had her first experience with her new husband, and after the way he had treated her, she resolved to run away in a year, once everything seemed to be "set in stone".

A couple months passed, and she could no longer take the man's abuse. He was somewhat rich, but she could not stand to be one of his nightly whores. One day when the man left for work, she packed only a few of her favorite belongings and left behind her family portrait, angry at them for selling their only daughter like she was their cattle. She knew a man she had met in the couple months she had been in Kyoto. That day, she met him at a cafe, where she purchased her new ID and passport, with the name Akiko Yano.

From there, she caught a train to Tokyo, the city of bustling lights and more people. She hoped to get a good opportunity in Tokyo and a new chance to start on her own, making her own decisions. Once there, she was desperate for money and would take any job that she could get her hands on. Desperate for money and food, she auditioned at Leggings, a strip club that had its own reputation.

She had a nice figure for a 16 year old. Her breasts were fully developed and she was tall at 5'7", a gene she had received from her father's side. One she regretted, since she stood out more being taller than most asians. Her skin was naturally tanned from helping out on the rice fields, and her eyes were quite large, giving her an advantage to seem innocent. Her hair was long, down to the middle of her back, and she always kept it in pigtails. She did not know how to dance like a stripper, she had never been in a strip club before, but she saw the movies that her husband liked to watch. She saw enough to know how to pass. A Japanese man named Big Michael, as he liked to call himself, watched her audition and hired her. He gave her an apartment, not too far away from the club, but it was small and "cozy".

This was 7 years ago. She still resides there, living with five other girls, all who are from the age of 19 - 24. They do not tell each other their stories. They tell each other their lies. She made enough money to survive week by week, and saved a little bit of her earnings here and there, but never enough to cut loose from the club.

Akiko still has the same figure, but it has developed more over the years. Her arms and legs are toned, and she has learned a few make-up tricks to make her lips seem more fuller. Her hair is still its original color, but it is now shorter (just below her shoulders), and she always kept it in a fashionable cut. She would admit to her customers, that when she first came here, she did not know much about fashion, but over the years she has learned a lot from watching the television, reading magazines, and watching people from behind a coffee shop window.

Over the years, she had learned many things; Not to date her clients, and not to fall in love with anyone. She learned to defend herself and she learned to give her personality enough edge, to keep herself from getting touched by strangers. She barely talks to her co-workers. She saves her voice and all her conversations for the customers that enter Leggings. And in her off days, Akiko can usually be found, with glasses on, at a local coffee shop either writing away in a notebook or reading a novel with a cappuchino beside her.

Present
Akiko is now known as Ryoko Yamamoto. She had her identity changed so she could live a new life and get away from a dangerous situation. Akiko now resides with takahiroonoe as a temperary roommate. She is currently unemployed and is seeking new employment.
